We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Accountant & Office Administrator who combines solid accounting expertise with hands‑on office support;ho is curious, innovative, and open to new technologies. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with financial data, embraces digital tools (including AI‑supported solutions), and actively contributes to improving accounting processes and day‑to‑day office operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial operations while helping modernize and streamline how we work.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

Accounting & Financial Operations

  • Manage general bookkeeping, including GL (General Ledger) entries.
  • Apply GAAP principles in daily accounting work.
  • Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
  • Maintain vendor and customer account information, ensuring accuracy and timely follow‑up.
  • Process expense reports and support Staff Accountant activities.
  • Prepare and coordinate monthly reporting and reconciliations.
  • Ensure payroll is accurately booked into the accounting system.
  • Assist with general financial reporting, audits, and documentation.
  • Support month‑end closing activities and maintain well‑organized financial records.
  • Actively identify opportunities to improve, automate, or digitalize accounting processes.
  • Use and explore modern accounting software, digital tools, and AI‑supported solutions to increase efficiency and data quality.

Office & Administrative Support

  • Serve as a first point of contact for general office inquiries.
  • Provide administrative support to our leadership team.
  • Assist in internal communication and office organization projects.
  • Interact with external service providers (facility, IT, vendors).
  • Support a smooth and professional day‑to‑day office environment.


WHO YOU ARE

  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field (Associate degree with relevant experience is also considered).
  • You bring at least 3 years of experience in accounting or financial operations.
  • You have a solid understanding of GAAP and general accounting procedures.
  • You are experienced with vendors, customers, invoicing, and expense report processes.
  • You are familiar with GL entries, reconciliations, and monthly/period‑end closings.
  • You enjoy working with numbers, systems, and processes and improving them.
  • You are curious and open to new software, digital tools, and AI‑based solutions in accounting and administration.
  • You are eager to learn, test, and implement new processes to make accounting more efficient and scalable.
  • You have first experience with Data analysis.
  • You have basic or first hands‑on experience with data analysis and working with structured data (e.g., reports, spreadsheets, dashboard).
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Copilot); experience with PowerBI and accounting systems is a plus.
  • You work in an accurate, structured, and proactive manner.
  • You communicate clearly and professionally, with a service‑oriented mindset.
  • You are able to work independently while collaborating closely with the team.
  • You have excellent English skills (written and spoken); German is a plus.
  • You are comfortable taking ownership and driving topics forward with minimal supervision.
  • You are legally authorized to work in the U.S.
